House is an old cheap 1880's that you find across urban Rust Belt cities.
What was at one point converted to a closet, was originally
access to narrow stairs to basement via a trapdoor. The stairs
had been located elsewhere but the trapdoor was nailed closed
at base of corner closet. This is enuf to give a speaker experimenter ideas !

Flimsy trapdoor was replaced w/ massive 1.5" thick baffle w/ two 416's @ rear
    (closet 32" wide)(inspiration: Altec A4 w/ similar piston:throat). Door
opening is 7' hi, horn distance to 1st fold ~5', then continued expansion
out closet to 45 deg corner baffle + right side wall + artificial left wall +
    floor. X/O is 80hz active summed L+R w/ 50w solid state amp.

Listening area is LARGE 'L' shape (walls were removed)--there are some standing
wave effects as one moves around.
Bass is much deeper and more impactful than I ever got w/ 620 enclosures.
620 enclosures are now in basement (underneath S/W spkrs *LOL*) where
they are used for different experimental set-up. One advantage of this is
the basement listening room can also use the same S/W + Amp w/ signal switching
tho here of course they are direct radiators, but still infinite baffle. Only us
Scottish could be so frugal !

How long is you horn's length?

what do you use to integrate it? Active or passively?

    Power you are using?

    Thanks,

Savant, nice horn and good job being a frugal scotsman. I don't have the old stair case option though. I'll have cut a hole in the floor, which I'm looking forward to. I'm going to do the IB first though, since there's a old cold air return duct there already.
